■ Modular Concept

»System structure is divided into several segments

»Each segment serves up to 400 display devices

»Only new data will be transferred reducing traffic and bottlenecks

■ Devices with their associated tasks

► Active Server Master / Slave:

»The master system acts on the highest operational level and is responsible for data processing, distribution and data consistency.

»The slave system acts as information distribution server.

►Stand-by Server:

»The second server in each segment is implemented to monitor the master server and takes       over its task in case of a hard- or software failure.

»A watchdog functionality is implemented to secure a “hot” switching of the CPUs.

►Operator Terminal:

»Used for data input or as manual fallback when main system is not available

Operator Terminal GUI is fully configurable

» Terminal application is running on a standard PC

»The amount of operator terminals is not limited
